Natural Resources

The Natural Resources sector describes companies involved in the production and distribution of energy needed to power the economy and assist production and transportation. Nevada has geothermal, solar, and hydro-power resources.

Energy jobs include engineers, researchers, developers, exploration, drilling, refining, and power utility companies, including renewable energy. Nevada's agriculture includes range livestock production (cows and sheep), high-desert farming, and the growing of food indoors with hydroponic, aeroponic, and aquaponic technologies.

Skills needed: teamwork, adaptability, innovation, computer, and communications.
