The Clark County School District is the nation’s fifth largest school district with more than 310,000 students, and they are at the core of everything the school district does. Introducing Vegas PBS Media Crew

Through funding from The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), a cohort of seven students – sophomores through seniors attending Clark County School District high schools – were selected to form the station’s first-ever Vegas PBS Media Crew who are now researching, creating, producing and distributing content for a new segment in Student Spotlight called "In Our Opinion."

The Vegas PBS Media Crew "In Our Opinion" Segments focus on connecting tweens and teens through content that is relevant to their lives. The selected topics will also drive content creation and experimentation with podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging platforms to engage students on current affairs.
