In Student Spotlight, we focus on students’ skills, talents and drive, discovering what makes them succeed. Along the way, we’ll meet incredible staff who are helping these students shine.

Introducing Vegas PBS Media Crew
Through funding from The Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), a cohort of seven students – sophomores through seniors attending Clark County School District high schools – created the first-ever Vegas PBS Media Crew.
Now, a new Media Crew will be forming for the new school year and a new season of Student Spotlight. The students will be researching, creating, producing and distributing content for a new segments focused on connecting tweens and teens through content that is relevant to their lives. The selected topics will also drive content creation and experimentation with podcasts, YouTube, TikTok, and other emerging platforms to engage students where they are viewing media.
