Vegas PBS Workforce Training and Economic Development is home to a robust computer testing lab where students, teachers and other professionals and individuals can sit for a variety of high-stakes testing and certification exams.
Only scheduled and prepaid testing offered. NO WALK-INS. Call 702.799.0031 to schedule. Valid government issued ID or passport required at check-in.

ParaPro Testing
SCHEDULED TO SUNSET IN AUGUST 2026 Testing schedule: Monday-Friday at 8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Time: 2.5 hours Cost: $80 per attempt (2 attempts in 7 days — after that, must wait 28 days to retest) Passing score: 455

High School Equivalency Exam
Cost: $100 for all five tests / $20 for each subtest Passing score: 45 total — a minimum score is required on each test Enroll: Testers must schedule directly through the Clark County School District Adult Education office at 702.799.8650 and request the online option
Online GED Testing
Cost: $31 per subject Enroll: Testers must schedule directly online through Pearson VUE
ACT WorkKeys® Assessment
Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Time: 30-70 minutes, varies by exam Cost: $25 per test / Workplace Observation test: $35 per attempt (2 attempts — must wait 30 days to retest) Remote testing available — additional $11 per assessment
If tester’s score qualifies for the ACT National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC), certificates are issued by ACT directly

Microsoft Excel Exam Level 1 & 2
Various levels available — tester must request the test level needed

Vegas PBS Teacher Licensure Renewal and Continuing Education (CU) Courses
Vegas PBS offers over 100 online courses approved by the Nevada Department of Education for license renewal credits. Classes start monthly.
