Las Vegas: Snapshots of History: 1960s-1990s

On March 7th, bring your photos to Springs Preserve where the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Libraries Special Collections & Archives unit will select and digitize relevant images.

The event, managed by Vegas PBS, will document four decades of immense change and growth in Las Vegas in partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Valley Water District’s Springs Preserve.

Add your voice to Las Vegas’ history with images of the city as it was in the midst of change, from buildings long gone to housing developments rising as the population grew 300% over four decades.

Please note: Not all photos will be digitized. The first 50 people to have photos selected will receive an 8 GB flash drive loaded with their digital images. All photos will be returned at the event.

Las Vegas: Snapshots of History is supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities
