Vegas PBS and PBS KIDS in Now Available on Prime Video

LAS VEGAS, NV – Vegas PBS is thrilled to announce that viewers can now stream their favorite local PBS programming and the PBS KIDS Channel for free on Prime Video. This exciting launch, in partnership with PBS and Amazon, brings Vegas PBS and more than 150 other PBS stations to a broader audience, ensuring that high-quality, educational, and inspiring content is more accessible than ever.

For the first time, Vegas PBS and PBS KIDS will be available ad-free as a Prime Video FAST (Free Ad-Supported Television) offering, making it easier than ever for Southern Nevadans to stay connected with trusted local programming. In addition, PBS Distribution (PBSd) has launched two new FAST channels — PBS Drama and PBS Documentaries — exclusively on Prime Video.

“Vegas PBS is committed to bringing our community informative and engaging programming across as many platforms as possible,” said Natalie Cullen, Program Development, Acquisitions and Scheduling Director. “By joining Prime Video’s FAST offerings, we’re ensuring that our high-quality local content reaches more viewers in Southern Nevada — whether it’s trusted journalism, cultural programming or enriching children’s content from PBS KIDS.”

The launch of PBS local station channels on Prime Video marks a major milestone in public media’s digital expansion. FAST Channels on Amazon are accessible through Prime Video and Fire TV, with non-Prime users able to watch for free under the “Watch for Free” section within Prime Video.

In addition to Prime Video, Vegas PBS content remains available on vegaspbs.org, the PBS app, and PBS KIDS Video app on iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, and select smart TVs. Vegas PBS members can also access an extended library of programming through PBS Passport.
