Vegas PBS Receives a 2022 Emmy Award

Ali: Las Vegas Legacy

LAS VEGAS, NV — Vegas PBS is proud to announce the station won a 2022 Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest chapter. The winners were announced at a ceremony on Saturday, June 18, 2022. 

The winning program Ali: Las Vegas Legacy, is a five-part limited digital series about Muhammad Ali’s impact and influence in Las Vegas. This series is a local digital companion to the Ken Burns documentary about the heavyweight champion. Ali: Las Vegas Legacy recognizes how “The Greatest” helped pave the way for long-lasting changes in the boxing community in Sin City. The Vegas PBS production team involved with this winning series include Adam McCarthy, Heather Caputo and Allison Monette.
