NEWSROOM | VEGAS PBS WINS BEST TELEVISION DOCUMENTARY IN THE 40th ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

LAS VEGAS – Vegas PBS is pleased to announce four of its locally-produced programs have been named winners of five total awards in the 40th Annual Telly Awards, including gold for original documentary “The Power of Love,” which explores brain health in Nevada and features the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, and another gold for editing on "Remembering Vietnam: Las Vegas Veterans. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies including Vice, Vimeo, Hearst Digital Media, BuzzFeed, and A&E Networks.

Vegas PBS received the following 2019 Telly Awards:

• Gold – Television: Documentary – “The Power of Love”
• Gold -- Television: Craft: Editing -- "Remembering Vietnam: Las Vegas Veterans"
• Silver – Television: History – “Remembering Vietnam: Las Vegas Veterans”
• Bronze – Television: History – “Outdoor Nevada – Our Radioactive History”
• Bronze – Television: Public Interest/Awareness – “Nevada Week: Nevada Minority-Owned Businesses”
