NEWSROOM | VEGAS PBS WELCOMES JIM LUDWIG AND CLARK DUMONT

Vegas PBS announced today that Jim Ludwig and Clark Dumont have joined the station as major gifts officer and interim director of development and strategic relations, respectively.

Ludwig has a broad portfolio of development, major gifts and planned giving experience in the non-profit, humanitarian, and education sectors including secondary and post-secondary institutions. Most recently, he was regional philanthropy officer for the Red Cross in Nevada and Utah. Ludwig has a master’s in secondary education and a master’s in public administration. His spouse is part of the Clark County School District at Roundy Elementary as a deaf education teacher.

Dumont was vice president of communications and public affairs for the opening of the Nevada Cancer Institute. He was chief of staff and senior vice president of corporate communications for MGM Resorts International. His professional experience includes broadcast journalism. Dumont has a master’s in communications management from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications. He is accredited in Public Relations by the Public Relations Society of America. He has previously served on the boards of New Hampshire PBS and New Hampshire Public Radio. In Las Vegas, he is the chair of the Red Cross of Southern Nevada and on the Board of the Neon Museum.
