Crafting for a Cause Knit or crochet a hat, scarf, blanket, etc. for someone in our community who could benefit from a gesture of kindness

Event Details

Join Henderson residents in the Henderson Libraries ninth annual Crafting for a Cause program. During this special project, participants have the opportunity to craft a knitted item for someone in the community who could benefit from a gesture of kindness.

Beginning November 12, yarn can be picked up for free at The Gibson Library during regular business hours . Volunteers can then knit or crochet seasonal items—such as a scarf, hat, mittens, blanket, shawl, etc.—and return the finished products to the Gibson Library Customer Service Desk by Friday, December 6 at 5 p.m.

Pickup hours: M-F 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Sundays
