Event Details

Hop on your bike and ride through time with Nevada Preservation Foundation! This 90-minute bike tour will take you on a scenic cruise through downtown Las Vegas, where neon signs once lit the way for honeymooners and high-rolling tourists. From 1920s bungalows to 1960s motels, explore how the heart of Vegas has transformed — and how adaptive reuse is giving these historic gems a second life.

Along the way, you’ll discover:

  • The homes of important early Las Vegans and get a glimpse of the city’s early architectural charm
  • Mid-century motels and signs from the golden age of tourism
  • The flashy ‘50s and ‘60s, when motels, neon signs, and the rise of tourism began shaping the Vegas we know and love today
  • The art of adaptive reuse, where past meets present in the coolest ways

Grab your helmet (and maybe a coffee), and cruise through Vegas history, block by block!
