Sample the traditions, music and flavors of the Caribbean at the Caribbean Heritage Festival

Bring a blanket or low-back chair for the lawn seating, and enjoy a day of performances that will include calypso, reggae, traditional Cuban music, and sounds direct from the Caribbean.

Longtime reggae musician Najja Hashim will be master of ceremonies, beginning at 11 a.m. The four performing groups will include:

11:05 a.m.       Mango Fever with Rick Arroyo - steel drum calypso music   
12:20 p.m.       Latin Fusion: Juan Luis Guerra Tribute - Dominican band
1:35 p.m.         56 Hope Road, The Ultimate Marley Experience - reggae band
2:35 p.m.         Stan Rankin T Award ceremony
2:55 p.m.         Sounds & Rhythms of Cuba - traditional Cuban band
3:55 p.m.         Closing announcements

Also featuring kids' activities, community exhibitors, artisan vendor booths, and Jamaican/Latin Caribbean food trucks offering refreshments for sale.
