Public Media Needs You – Stand with Vegas PBS.
For over 55 years, Vegas PBS has served as your local public media station, providing free, high-quality programming and essential services that impact lives across our region.
Public media is more than television — it’s a lifeline for education, a trusted source of information and a storyteller for our incredible Southern Nevada community.
What's At Stake
Public Media Is at Risk
The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which helps fund stations like Vegas PBS, is under threat. Public media receives just 75 cents per Southern Nevadan per year in federal funding—yet the return on investment is incredible.
- For every $1 in federal support, our community contributes $8—a 700% return that multiplies the value of public media in Southern Nevada.
- Out of every dollar we raise, 80% goes right back into the community via our programming, educational workshops and resources, workforce education, community engagement, and public safety.
- Without this support, the programming you love—like NOVA, Masterpiece, and Nature—and the essential services we provide could disappear.
Vegas PBS: A Service for Southern Nevada
- 500,000 Southern Nevadans regularly tune in to Vegas PBS programs like Outdoor Nevada, Nevada Week, Vegas All In and more.
- 3 million streams per month bring PBS KIDS content into homes, helping children learn and grow.
- Emergency broadcasting services ensure every Nevadan is informed and protected during crises.
- 99% job placement rate in our Workforce Education programs, preparing Southern Nevadans for new careers.
