May 21: Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony

Join Mayor Shelley Berkley, Undersheriff Andrew Walsh, Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske, and the community to honor our local law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty since 1905.
The ceremony takes place in Police Memorial Park, which is adjacent to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Training Bureau and Academy. Each officer killed in the line of duty is honored with a boulder and bronze plaque engraved with their name, agency and date of incident. A tree is also planted next to each boulder along a lighted walkway.
