The new public media streaming app, My Vegas PBS, is designed to bring that idea to Southern Nevada. It will prioritize local programming among the breadth of PBS, giving viewers a single destination for stories about our communities, our state and the issues that matter here — while still offering the national PBS programs audiences already love.
For Southern Nevadans, that local connection is especially important. Public media can serve a community by telling its stories, exploring its challenges and celebrating the people who give the region its character. Programs such as Nevada Week, Outdoor Nevada, Vegas All In, and other Vegas PBS productions provide a distinctly Southern Nevada perspective, while PBS programming like NOVA, NATURE, MASTERPIECE, or PBS News Hour brings the larger world into the living room.
That combination is the point. The result is public media that feels both expansive and personal: a window onto the world, with a clear view of home.
