Education Funding Legislative Roundup | Nevada Week

One of the highest priorities going into Nevada’s 80th legislative session was K-12 education funding, and for good reason. Our state’s 52-year-old funding formula, many argue, no longer serves out students’ diverse needs, and our current per-pupil funding is one of the lowest in the nation. With only weeks left in this session, where are we in revamping state funds for Nevada’s education?
