Celebrate the 17th annual Aki Matsuri Japanese Festival! Presented in partnership with the Japanese Festival Association of Nevada, this traditional "Fall Festival" features authentic Japanese food, vendors, music and cultural activities.
“Aki Matsuri” are the Japanese words for “fall festival,” and it has been celebrated in the Las Vegas valley each October since it was founded in 2010 by Robert Higashinaka.
The event attracts more than 10,000 people annually and features:
- Live entertainment by visiting Japanese groups and local talent, with singers, dancers, and traditional attire
- Authentic Japanese food and goods
- Kids activities
- Special performance by San Jose Chidori
- Sake tasting and seminar
- and more!
This event is completely outdoors and will be held rain or shine.

Free parking is available at the Water Street Parking Garage, located at 235 S. Water St. directly across from Water Street Plaza.
