March 4-8: The Mint 400

BF Goodrich 2026 Mint 400 March 4th-8th, 2026 | Las Vegas

Event Details

The Mint 400 is the oldest and most prestigious off-road race in America and is held each March in the treacherous foothills of Sin City. It has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since it was first run in 1968 — created as a public relations event to promote the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt.

The Mint 400 race ended in 1988 after the sale of the Mint — but the story continued in 2008, when the Great American Off-Road Race was revived.

Now, this multi-day event features two days of grueling off-road racing on a desolate and punishing 400-mile racecourse. The full festival schedule includes:

  • Wednesday, March 4: The Mint 400 Vehicle Parade on The Strip (FREE & open to the public)
  • Thursday, March 5: Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street (FREE & open to the public)
  • Friday, March 6 & Saturday, March 7: The Mint 400 races in Primm (start/finish) and Jean, Nevada (remote spectating)

Overnight camping is available at the start/finish lines.
