July 4: Rockets Over The River

The annual Rockets Over The River 4th of July fireworks display is one of the most spectacular and unique in the West — as the pyrotechnic company launches the rockets into the dark desert sky with the reflection of each colorful explosion shimmering on the Colorado River.

This choreographed fireworks display launches at 9:30 p.m. and is synchronized to patriotic music broadcast live on KISS FM 104.9. 

Set against the riverfront skyline, this beloved holiday tradition brings the community together in a powerful tribute to America — part of a six-month, cross-border celebration of America’s 250th Birthday in Laughlin, Nevada and Bullhead City, Arizona.
