February 19-21: Chinese New Year in the Desert

Over the past 14 years, Chinese New Year in the Desert has expanded its program across various city venues.

Various festivities for Lunar New Year — known as the “Spring Festival” in China, “Tet New Year” in Vietnam, and “Seol-lal” in Korea — will help usher in the Year of the Horse.

  • Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 7:30 p.m.: CNY Opening Night with Shin Lim at The Palazzo Theatre
  • Friday, February 20, 2026 at 6-8 p.m.: CNY Family Feast at Palette Tea Lounge & Dim Sum
  • Saturday, February 21,  2026 at 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Las Vegas Spring Festival (a.k.a. Lunar New Year) Parade at Downtown LV Fremont East Entertainment District


After the parade, join live cultural performances, vendor showcases, and a high-energy dance fitness session at Downtown Container Park.
