Vegas PBS TeacherLine
Newly Expanded Course Lineup!
Courses provided by Vegas PBS TeacherLine are approved by the Nevada Department of Education and the Clark County School District. With the assistance from the CPD office, a number of 15 hour (1 credit) and 30 hour (2-credit) courses meet the requirements for NV license renewal.
TeacherLine Classes DO NOT replace the requirement to take the PRAXIS.
Vegas PBS provides Pre K–12 teachers across the country and within Southern Nevada with the high-quality, standards- and research-based professional development for teachers who need to improve their skills and enhance student achievement. Vegas PBS Goal courses currently approved by the Department of Education. All of our approved teacher courses receive 1.5 credits toward educator relicensing. Vegas PBS starts a new class the third Wednesday of each month. Classes are completely online with access to an instructor and run for six weeks with a new lesson released each Wednesday and Friday. Once you have completed a course, make sure you request a certificate from Summer Collins (firstname.lastname@example.org) to submit with your renewal form to the State. The certificate bears the appropriate course approval code given to us by the Nevada Department of Education.
