FREE SEMINAR: Aging Alone and Guardianship

Join Vegas PBS and our non-profit partner Opportunity Village to learn about Aging Alone and Guardianship. This complimentary seminar will be led by Vegas PBS Planned Giving Council members Jason Oshins, Shannon Evans, Mark Dreschler and Geri Tomich. Lunch will be provided.
The first portion of our seminar beginning at 10:30 will cover information pertaining to Aging Alone. Jason Oshins, Financial Advisor at WestPac Wealth Partners, will cover how to afford living longer than expected. Jason is a Registered Representative & Investment Advisor. Shannon Evans of Evans and Associates will discuss caring for minors in retirement. Both Jason and Shannon will discuss the benefits of life-long income planning.
The second portion of our seminar beginning at 12noon will provide an overview of Guardianship in Nevada. Geri Tomich of Marquis Aurbach Coffing will review the recent updates to the Nevada Revised Statute and its implications for the senior community. Mark Dreschler of Premier Trust, will discuss the administrative process of guardianship and how to use a trust to avoid guardianship of the estate. Mark holds a Certificate in Trust Administration, is the co-founder of Premier Trust and has over 40 years' experience in estate management.
