Vegas PBS Ready To Learn outreach efforts are seen in numerous locations throughout Southern Nevada, including CCSD classrooms, public libraries, childcare facilities, non-profit preschool programs, shelters, and recreation centers on a daily basis. Using Vegas PBS children's programming, these workshops integrate tips for viewing television, literacy strategies, and hands-on activities to extend children's learning at home.

RTL trainers work within the guidelines of national and state curriculum to enhance classroom learning. Participants in the workshops are given tools to extend workshop experiences at home via new books, program and station-related materials, and parent tips and/or resources. These materials are available in English and Spanish.
