Transmedia

Professional Development

Professional Development Transmedia is the technique of telling a single story across multiple platforms and formats using current digital technologies, including the interactive whiteboard, mobile apps, as well as hands-on learning experiences. “Watch, Explore, Read, Play” transmedia lessons, leverage the popularity of PBS KIDS educational programs. Using free PBS teaching resources, teachers learn how to build their own “Watch, Explore, Read, Play” transmedia lessons that are tailored to their grade level and content area.
