Reading Rainbow Patch Program

Our yearly Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators contest is one way in which we reach out to the community to encourage young children to be lifelong readers, writers, and learners. In partnership with the Girl Scouts of Frontier Council, we are thrilled to be able to provide all Southern Nevada Girl Scouts in grades K-3 who enter the Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest with a custom Vegas PBS Reading Rainbow patch to signify their accomplishments as young authors. We will award Girl Scout members an additional patch for each yearly story submission.
