Legal Aid: Small Claims Court

THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT LIMIT HAS BEEN RAISED TO $7,500.
The Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV began a partnership over 12 years ago to offer free legal information classes to the public. These classes are taught by law students under the supervision of attorneys and the law school. Since the opening of the Self Help Center at the Regional Justice Center, hundreds of people have sought information at the Center on how to represent themselves in a Small Claims matter. Las Vegas Justice Court believes that this Small Claims video, which is part of the free legal information class program, is so valuable that they wanted to make the information more readily available to all people who will represent themselves in a Small Claims matter.
