Vegas PBS Announces Anthony Caruth as Graphic Artist

(Las Vegas)–Vegas PBS has announced Anthony Caruth as its Graphic Artist. He will provide graphic design support for print media, web, social media platforms, and on-air productions.

Before joining the Vegas PBS team, Caruth worked as a multimedia designer for Ardyss International, a health and wellness marketing company. Caruth’s responsibilities included graphic design, with a marketing emphasis, for print, web and videos. He also undertook independent projects with Michael D. Brown, a global management expert, professional speaker and author. This work included the conceptual development of two of Brown’s books, Fresh Customer Service and Fresh Passion: Get a Brand or Die a Generic and various other assignments that involved graphics and web design. Caruth has volunteered for the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada, assisting with the designing of graphic elements and the updating of the Chapter’s website. Caruth has also volunteered for the Contemporary Arts Center of Las Vegas where he worked on numerous print materials for the gallery and was responsible for creating the “Build the Circle” design and campaign materials for a fundraising event.

Caruth is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, which is located off the northern edge of South America. He moved to New York City as a teenager, where he lived for more than 10 years. He relocated to Nevada in 2009.

Caruth received an Associate in Applied Science degree from New York City Technical College and went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Arts and Production Management from this institution. While working toward his undergraduate degree, he undertook an internship at New York Daily News. Here, he prepared and enhanced images for ads and organized database information.  He has completed the required courses, with a pending thesis project, for a Masters of Arts from Long Island University where his focus was film/video production and 3-dimensional art.
