(Las Vegas) –  As family and friends gather around to celebrate the holidays, Vegas PBS offers a variety of special programming to create even more lasting memories. This season, Vegas PBS explores various religious traditions; pays homage to the men and women of our military; reveals the culinary secrets behind sweet and savory treats; celebrates holiday cheer with festive music and performances; and rings in the new year with a night of American classics.

Tuesday, November 29 at 10 p.m.

A diverse range of Jewish families celebrate the importance of food as a cultural connection to the past and a hope to maintain tradition in the future.

A festival holiday special showcases the music, sights and famed cuisine of New Orleans.

Lidia Celebrates America: Holiday for Heroes
Friday, December 16 at 10 p.m.

Host Lidia Bastianich honors the lives and holiday traditions of America’s veterans.

Christmas in Alsace with Chef Hubert Keller (a two-part series)
Saturdays, December 17 and 24 at 2:30 p.m.

Chef Keller attends the 600-year old Christmas festival in his hometown of Ribeauville in Alsace.

Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring Laura Osnes and Martin Jarvis
Monday, December 19 at 9 p.m.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is joined by Broadway star Laura Osnes and British actor Martin Jarvis.

The program showcases the rich choral music traditions of two countries, presenting traditional Christmas hymns and carols in both Norwegian and English.

Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Featuring Santino Fontana and the Sesame Street Muppets
Sunday, December 25 at 1:30 p.m.

The world famous choir is joined by singing star Santino Fontana and the Sesame Street
Muppets for a concert that includes inspiring arrangements.

Happy Holidays with the Boston Pops

The Boston Pops Orchestra and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus perform in a concert of beloved holiday classics.

The Three Tenors Christmas

Jordan Smith ‘Tis the Season

Call the Midwife Holiday Special
Sunday, December 25 at 7:30 p.m.

This year’s holiday special will see the midwifes transported to the Eastern Cape of South Africa.

Live From Lincoln Center: New York Philharmonic New Year’s Eve
Saturday, December 31 at 8 p.m.

Ring in the new year with a night of American classics, including beloved works by Rodgers & Hammerstein, featuring Joyce DiDonato with the New York Philharmonic.

Wild Kratts: A Creature Christmas
Thursday, November 24 at 4 p.m.

The Wild Kratts travel around the globe to return baby animal friends to their homes for the holidays.
